Voluntary shots in mutual holding positions are ususaly mistakes as is the case here. Black has a constructive move 6/3 4/3 shifting the 4 point and starting it anew. |

The ace point is the ultimate graveyard, the deuce is the graveyard2, while the 3 point is the third age with little left ahead but the 2 graveyards. A slot would prefer to be on a higher point. |

Initially. I thought 13/8 10/9 should be the best . Snowie prefers 13/4 by 0.020 to the actual move or to 13/8 13/9. It is for making 2s good. I agree there is no gammon danger and white can concentrate on building, not on saving. |

Not a big deal, but black could double white in here. White has a take an automatic redouble. If it was a tournament, black probably saved energy for the next match ... The 9-to-5 job - waiting for the pay day. |

Whether white plays the best move or the actual move, if black dances, he will be doubled out. If white intends to play for a gammon, the actual move would bring more gammons... But it is such a long shot that white would better have the bird in hand. In such a case, white should play against the anti-joker 11 for black 20/18* 20/14! |

Being 2 away with a big lead in the score, black should take. He should only pass with cubeless winning chances below 20%. |
